1. Who we are

This website (doctools.co) and the online store operating on it are managed by DOCTOOLS MEDICAL SAS (hereinafter, 'Doctools'), a Colombian company domiciled at Cra. 44 #38-11, Office 8F, 8th Floor, Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia.

2. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions regulate the use of the site and the purchases you make on it. Before paying for an order or sending us your data in a form, we ask that you check the box declaring that you have read and accepted them. This acceptance is a valid data message in accordance with Law 527 of 1999 and is recorded with the date and time it was performed.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the site or place orders.

3. Who can purchase

To purchase, you must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. The data you provide must be true, complete, and up to date.

4. Applicable regulations

These purchases are governed by Colombian law, specifically:

  • the Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011) and Decree 1074 of 2015;
  • Law 527 of 1999, regarding electronic commerce;
  • Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulatory decrees, regarding the protection of personal data.

5. Products

  • Each product has a file with its characteristics, price, variants (size or design), and availability.
  • Photographs are illustrative: colors may vary slightly depending on your screen.
  • We do not make medical or therapeutic claims about our products.
  • Availability is shown in real-time, but may change while your order is being processed. If a product goes out of stock after you have paid, we will inform you and offer you another product or a full refund of your money, as you prefer.

6. Prices and taxes

  • Prices are published in Colombian pesos (COP) and are valid as long as they are published on the site.
  • If any tax applies, it is shown itemized at checkout before you pay.
  • The shipping cost is calculated based on the destination and is shown before payment. We explain this in our Shipping Policy.
  • If the site displays a price with an obvious error (for example, a value significantly lower than the actual one due to a technical failure), we will notify you before dispatch. You will be able to choose between purchasing at the correct price or receiving a full refund of what you paid.

7. How to make a purchase

  1. Add products to the cart.
  2. In the cart, check the boxes accepting these Terms and Conditions and the Personal Data Processing Policy.
  3. At checkout, enter your contact, shipping, and billing information. There, you will see the complete order summary: products, quantities, price, shipping cost, taxes if applicable, and total.
  4. Choose the payment method and confirm.

The contract is perfected when the payment entity approves the transaction. At that moment, we will send you a confirmation email with the order number and purchase details, which you can save or print.

8. Payment methods

We accept the payment methods enabled at checkout, such as Mercado Pago and PayPal. Payments are processed directly by those platforms: Doctools does not receive or store your full card details.

Prices are charged in Colombian pesos (COP). If you pay with a foreign payment method, your bank or the payment platform may apply their own exchange rate or fees.

10. Right of withdrawal, payment reversal, and warranty

As a consumer, you have these rights, explained in detail in our Refund, Withdrawal, and Warranty Policy:

  • Withdrawal: you may withdraw from the purchase within five (5) business days following delivery, with the exceptions provided for by law (Article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011).
  • Payment reversal: applies in the cases under Article 51 of Law 1480 of 2011.
  • Legal warranty: covers defects in quality, suitability, and safety of the products.

11. Promotions and discount codes

Each promotion or discount code has its own conditions: validity period, included products, minimum amount, and whether or not it can be combined with other offers. Those conditions are communicated along with the promotion.

A code that does not meet its conditions will not be applied at checkout. Promotions are not exchangeable for cash.

12. Use of the site

You agree not to use the site for illicit purposes, not to attempt unauthorized access to its systems, and not to interfere with its operation.

We may cancel an order if we detect reasonable indications of fraud or impersonation. In that case, we will refund the money that has been paid.

13. Intellectual property

The Doctools brand, the slogan 'for the hoomans in between', the logos, designs, photographs, texts, and other content on the site belong to Doctools or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes without written authorization.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you may appeal to the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce at www.sic.gov.co.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version will always be published on this page, with its version number and date.

Each purchase is governed by the version you accepted at the time of purchase.

17. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Disputes will be resolved before the competent Colombian authorities, without prejudice to the rights granted to the consumer by law.
